What: On March 13th, enjoy a wonderful evening at Jasper’s Richardson as we host a wine dinner with Trinchero Napa Valley and winemaker, Mario Montecelli. Executive Chef Michael Harp has created an outstanding 4 course menu which will feature Licorice Crusted Lamb. You will start your dinner with passed appetizers and enjoy three delicious courses alongside an assortment of select wines from one of California’s best wineries.
Winemaker Mario Montecelli will be joining participants at the event and sharing some of the unique characteristics of the wines selected for the evening.

Trinchero Napa Valley 70 years ago, a young Italian immigrant Mario Trinchero left New York City and headed west to the Napa Valley, hoping to build a better life for his wife Mary and their three children, Bob, Roger and Vera. The family purchased an abandoned Prohibition-era winery in St. Helena, refurbished it and initially scraped by as a mom-and-pop operation. The single-vineyard Zinfandel wines, crafted from old-growth vines were greeted with wide acclaim from wine critics, sommeliers and consumers. In 1972, second-generation vintner Bob Trinchero created the world’s first White Zinfandel under the Sutter Home label. In 2007 the Trinchero Napa Valley Winery was built. That same year, pedigreed winemaker Mario Monticelli joined the team and crushed the first vintage of Trinchero Napa Valley. Today with a collection of estate vineyards spanning 200 acres in St. Helena, Mt. Veeder, Atlas Peak and Rutherford, they operate a state of the art winery and culinary center.
