Fleur de Mer 2018 Côtes de Provence Rosé – Throughout the rolling hills and valleys of Provence, fields of lavender thrive in the warm sun and fresh, crisp seaside air. In French, Fleur de Mer means “Flower of the Sea,” and this celebrates the region’s famed fields of flowers and vines that bask in the warm summer sun. An elegant Provençale Rosé, Fleur de Mer honors the region’s 2,600-year-old historical tradition of crafting incredible Rosé wines. For this vintage, Winemaker Florian Lacroux selected primarily Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan which blend harmoniously and bring remarkable consistency to the final wine. A classic Provençale Rosé, Fleur de Mer is a brilliant pale pink color, beautifully balanced with bright fruit notes and crisp acidity. Delicate aromas of fresh watermelon and cherry give way to a complex, refreshing palate. Layers of red berries and subtle citrus are complemented by a softly textured middle and a fine, cleansing, mineral finish.
Rosehaven 2017 California Rosé Wine – A Rosé well worth taking the time to savor. Strikingly elegant, clean and crisp. Featuring aromatic layers of guava, raspberry, and strawberry, all interlaced with revealing citrus notes. Simply gorgeous
F Locations Rosé – From the south of France, 100% Grenache. In the glass, an appearance of Himalayan salt opens with a nose of gardenias and early harvested stone fruit. A fresh entry leads to a honeysuckle mousse with hints of peaches and cantaloupe encompassing a dry minerality. The finish is memorable with a slight brininess reminiscent of the Himalayan sea salt hue.
J Brut Rosé – Russian River Valley – Since 1986, J Vineyards & Winery has developed a reputation as one of the top sparkling and varietal wine producers in California. This J Brut Rosé sparkles with a vibrant, pink salmon hue and offers layered aromas of ripe raspberries, fresh rose petals and a savory note of slivered almonds. On the palate, an elegant mouthfeel complements flavors of fresh mandarin orange, roasted strawberries, and crème fraîche. Lively acidity and steely minerality frame a crisp, lingering finish. Pair this elegant sparkling rosé with traditional Spanish seafood paella, salmon tartare or camembert with candied kumquats and lavender almonds. Aging: As is customary for traditional method sparkling wine production, the secondary fermentation occurred in the bottle. The wine was aged en tirage (explanation: Aging en tirage is the process by which the wine is aged in the bottle after the second fermentation, in contact with the dead yeasts.) in the cool cellars for an average of two years, developing deeper complexity as the years went by.
