We will be pouring:

  • Echo Bay Sauvignon Blanc – Sourced from the cool climate and rocky soils of Marlborough in New Zealand, this regions hallmark is vibrant acidity and fresh, almost explosive, tropical fruit that is unlike styles made in France and California.  The Echo Bay project was spearheaded by master winemaker, Nick Goldschmidt, who has made wine in every major wine region in the world.
  • Angove Family Shiraz– The McLaren Vale is one of the most unique grape-growing regions in the world and the Shiraz produced by the Angove family is a classic example.  5 generations of winemaking to their name, the Angove’s have crafted an intense red wine with aromas of pepper & Allspice with flavors of dark chocolate, licorice, and red cherry.  A wine for lovers of Texas Barbeque if there ever was one.
  • Carmen Vineyards Carmenere – A historic grape of the Bordeaux region, Carmenere was once thought to be extinct after a devastating louse destroyed the vineyards of France.  Thankfully a French researcher “rediscovered” the Carmenere grape in the vineyards of the Carmen winery in 1994 and now we have a stunning example of an old world grape being made in a new world region.  The wine has a dense and concentrated dark purple color. The nose is rich and very honest to the variety showing ripe berries, sweet spices and tobacco with soft touches of spicy anise and paprika add complexity.
  • 1100 Red Blend by Dona Paula – The vineyards for this Malbec-based red blend lie at 3600ft in the foothills of the Andes mountain range in Argentina.  The Los Indios vineyard is located in the Altamira region of Argentina which is famous for the most delicate and aromatic examples of Malbec in the world.  The wine is a blend of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah: the Malbec shows floral aromas, such as violet and rosehip. The Syrah contributes spicy notes, good volume in the mouth and silky tannins, whereas the Cabernet Sauvignon complements the blend with a great structure.
